ECOFRIENDLY SCHOOL WITH ZERO WASTE
According to the webinar held on 12th December 2020,we decided…..
*Everything in the project must first
be uploaded to the materials and then to the relevant page.
* Home page webinars should be
devoted to collaborative works such as the poster of the project, teamwork.
* While students are doing
activities, logo, poster etc. The photographs that were taken while designing should be uploaded
to the section of "student work photos".
* Student work will be transferred to
the appropriate page.
* We and our students can like and comment
on the posts on Twinspace.
* The activity we attended for
e-Security, webinar certificates, and eSecurity certificates of our schools, if
any, should be uploaded to our "Internet Security Activities" page.
* Our thoughts for the project plan
should be written to the "Padlet", in a forum style, to exchange
ideas.
* First things to do;
-Student introductions (Vokiler)
-Teacher Introductions
-School introductions
City promotions (Photos of the city
can be turned into videos accompanied by music.)
-Logo, slogan, posters. (Logo and
posters must have eTwinning logo)
Note: Attention should be paid to the
copyright of the music / photos in the videos, the shared list on Youtube
should be shared.
* Places on the map were shown in
Twinspace. Those who are wrong should tell our founder.
* Some tasks were shared. We will
write the tasks we have taken in the task sharing section.
-Social media- Instagram and Youtube
live broadcasts will be made.
-Blog will be created.
- Surveys ….etc
* The project will end around May.
* The project must have a mascot /
avatar.
* Slogan must be in English. (We can
translate the winner from Turkish.)
* An event draft will be created.
(Name of the event, purpose, performance, results, etc.)
* While creating the activities, we
should pay attention to the following;
- trouble shooting (What's wrong?)
-What can we do (what
responsibilities should we take?)
-What I did ? (how were the results?)
* Students should know the environmental
problems (Global warming, recycling, compost etc.)
* We should celebrate certain days
related to our project.
- e-Security day
-World Water Day
Forest week etc
* We should consider how to integrate
it into the curriculum of our own branch while doing our activities. (It is
very important for the quality label!) For example, the self-promotion
activities are suitable for the 5th grade Hello unit in English, eSafety 8th
grade The Internet unit.
* Throughout the project, we should learn
about new Web2 tools, exchange ideas, and note which Web2 tool we and our
students used in which activity.
Some activity suggestions we talked
about;
Zero waste inventors,
-Measuring your carbon footprint
-How green are you?
-Digital story
-Completing and interpreting fairy
tales in storyjumper
-The forum where students can discuss

-Burying in the ground in the garden
to see how much the garbage looks in nature
- Speak recycle bins according to
their colors or trash (in web2 or drama form)
Waste bins in homes (by type)
-Invoice comparison
-Puzzle maker related puzzles
-New year card
-A map where we can show all products
-And
Noah's Ark (Only ecofriendly ones can board)
* We continue to search for events.
We can give students the task of choosing an activity for a month.
